-One used copy of Massively Multiplayer Games for Dummies

My self-esteem thanks you

As if my past few days could not have gotten any worse,

some woman came into Target tonight and asked if I was having a baby.

Gee thanks no, I'm just really huge.

One late night at Target, some girl came in and bought a jar of pickles, then told me she had a weird question. Her question was whether or not she could get a picture of herself lying on a counter in the store with me in the background for a photo scavenger hunt. I said yes, on one condition.

That she email it to me when she was done with the scavenger hunt. )

-2 multivitamin gummies (delicious)
-1 slow-release iron tablet
-1 Yaz tablet (bring on the blood clots, I am sick of being manly)
-And this week, wash it down with delicious Robtussin D:

Six Flags Advertising Hierarchy:

Mr. Six dancing and not speaking > Mr. Six telling me that more flags = more fun > Random Asian guy yelling at me about how more flags = more fun.

REALLY fucking sick AND I just got my period. Coughcrampcoughsnifflecough.

I went into work today at 8 AM only to discover I was working at 8 PM. I win.

Went home and slept for for 2 hours or so. Woke up to my uterus being very unhappy.

Going to have sushi soon. Why? Because I can. And because I'm nauseous-ish and for some reason nothing seems as delicious as raw fish? Seriously. I keep thinking I should eat soup or something but everything else is grossing me out.

I have issues.

And I feel shittastic.

Paul's coming over on Sunday.

I want to go back to bed and sleep until then.

...Is that shippy?

It might help if I say that Sunday is my day off.

Do not want to work tonight and tomorrow night and the night after with this cold.

Also do want to see Paul and have him meet the cats.

For $27 we can take a bus to Mohegan Sun and get vouchers for shit. I am contemplating asking Paul if he feels like this is a good idea, but it would mean that House or Pirates is out, which has sort of become our thing. Then again, I sort of feel like we need a new thing.

On the other hand, it is entirely possible we will be the only people under 60 on the bus.

Well, Paul. Let me know if you think this is a grand idea.

Irrelevant to most people, some guy that looked EXACTLY. LIKE. STEVE NAGHAVI. came into Target the other day. I literally squeed when I saw him without even realizing why for a few seconds, then kept waiting for him to talk to see if he'd have a German accent and when he didn't I was unbelievably disappointed.

I mean, why Steve Naghavi would be in a Target in Ansonia, CT would be completely beyond me. But still. I hoped.

I stole this from a girl I met on the Harry/Draco Shippers Facebook group, but I'm too lazy to log into my fanfiction journal to post it, so it's going here where no one cares.

I went to a Dunkin Donuts today. This is not a rare occurrence by any stretch of the imagination, but for some reason today the smell came right out at me and made me nostalgic for summertime and being a teenager and mindless labor and big cups of ice cubes. Like something fierce.

Not much is new this week. Got my appointment for my driving test on the 30th, so I'm going to need to get in some practice before that.

Teh Holiday rapidly approaches.

Obvious obsession is obvious.

I will hopefully be having MOAR FANDOM soon.

Things are alright for now, and as always, I wish I had more to say at times like these to offset the angst collection that I have in my LJ.

I am TOTALLY AWESOME.

Obligatory "Things I am thankful for" post

  • Nov. 26th, 2009 at 7:49 PM

I made dinner today and everyone enjoyed it, which made me smile a little.

So, on to those Things:

-New Target job

-My grand total of three IRL friends. You know who you are, so if you're reading this, hey, I like you and I'm glad I know you.

-David Fucking Garrett.

-Season 6 of House sucking slightly less than seasons 4 and 5.

-Fandom!

-Family, sometimes. Because parents annoy the crap out of me, but they're also good to have around.

-Kitties. They are love.

-Internets. They are also love.

The end.

Tomorrow is Black Friday and I am getting up at 4 AM to shop with my discount before I have to work at 6:45 until 3, which I can only hope will feel like a short day because of the inevitable busy-ness that the day will bring.

Sleep is for the weak\! (But napping at 3:30 when I get home is totally epic.)
